if its just uploads we are talking about - then we can do this differently
(wget from him rather than him has blanket ssh access)

for us - ssh access and svn access are the same. in many ways that makes this a
very open project. if you can commit to the code - u can use our servers. but
it shouldnt go the other way around. code commit access means u have entered
the "circle of trust" and are trusted too behave and do the right thing. as
such u can mess with our code and that is almost infinitely more important than
our servers. so... the reverse is something that needs looking at - ssh access
to do things on the server means u implicitly have source code access. now
granting such access means ... we'd like to know a little about you first. :)
so... mysterious new person with access - need to ask "why?" :)
