I trashed the Rules file and started from scratch, but the problem continues. Here's an example of a rule that isn't working, and it's the second highest in priority: >From Is in Category A or Category Is A Move message to Folder A But all mail from Category A contacts still ends up in the InBox -- identified as Category A mail. I also have Junk Mail, Junk Subjects, Junk Countries, Junk Domains and Junk Phrases rules to move spam to a Junk folder, as suggested on the Entourage Help Page. And my Junk Mail Filter is set at High. But obvious junk -- with words like "mortgage" [and worse] in the subject -- ends up in the InBox, NOT identified as Junk, which leads me believe the JMF isn't working, either. Until this problem started, with the same JMF setting and only a basic Junk Mail Rule, these messages were marked as Junk and moved to my Junk folder. I'm at wit's end with this. My next move is probably a switch to Mail/iCal.
