Allen, Fyi, when I did EntX overwrites Palm (Clie in my case), the resulting address database is out of order. So whether I try to Synch the two or simply overwrite the Clie, the names are out of order. I can fix this, as I said, painstakingly, by editing the first letter of each name...but it takes an hour or more...
When I use the Palm or iSynch software to overwrite the Clie, I don't have this problem. Thanks for your continued attempts to help...I have to suspect the EntX synch software.
