Well, since his primary criteria seemed to be related to the handling of the
3, the small difference in image quality didn't seem, to me, to be of
sufficient import. If you want a camera that has the shape of the 3,
weather sealing, controls and ruggedness of the 3 but not the cost of a new
1Ds mkII(I), then I'd say the 1Ds mkI is a leading choice. Heck I think he
said a 5D was too expensive...
