Each of you has expressed some interest in the information
package I've been putting together documenting the
installation of shoulder harnesses in my Alon. At last, the
the great work is finished and I have a stack of folders on
my desk waiting to be mailed upon receipt of a $25.00 check.
What you will receive is:
(1) A full description of the installation, including a bill
of materials and suggested sources for the parts.
(2) A copy of the 337.
(3) THE MOST VALUABLE ITEM - A structural analysis by a DER
that constitutes "FAA Approved Data." (Officially for my
plane only, but it uses an Ercoupe parts book drawing for
reference.)
(4) Drawings for the three fabricated parts.
(5) Seven photographs that make it very clear how the
installation was accomplished.
(6) A cover letter from me disclaiming any responsibility
for the data I've provided. It's merely for your reference.
