At the Ercoupe maintenance forum, on Friday at Sun-n-Fun, the subject of shoulder harnesses came up. A lot of ideas were passed around especially those concerning what the FAA would approve. There is a good web site with lots of interesting design criteria and the FAA's policy statement on installing shoulder harness in older aircraft.
