One has to consider some hideous marketing gaffs Apple committed along the
years (including deliberate or inadvertent developmental gifts to Billy
G., just like Xerox's original gift of the Graphical User Interface to
Apple way back when). (re: Ed's comment)
The new Macs will do Windows as well so that people can have a Mac and its
comfortable (and secure) operating environment but still have the
capability to run the myriad of niche software that only works on Windows.
