I'm very confused about who it is that is experiencing this "THE" (not a, the) first-person perspective; but I'm not as confused as you.

Indeed. Lots and lots of people have given the "explanation"
a
d nauseam
, but they all boil down to the same thing, "
the
 future
first-person
 experience
" means the things "you" will experience in the future, and the future "you" means the guy having the future first person experience. And round and round we go. And although there are plenty of people around and all of them are having first person experiences (and yes having those experiences from the 1p NOT the 3p using Bruno's peepee notation) nevertheless somehow for reasons never explained there is only one " *THE*
first-person perspective
 ".

Your misusing the grammar and treating it as fact. "The first-person perspective" doesn't imply there is only one person; it's just a label for a certain kind of perspective. Compare "From the defensive lineman persepctive, quarterbacks get too much protection"; which doesn't imply there is only one defensive lineman.

Out of that grand multitude only one can inherit the grand title "THE", all the others get the mush less prestigious "a", but nobody seems to know exactly (or even approximately) how these royal rules of succession work. Bruno believes that sticking in a diary into this sorry situation things are somehow clarified, but if you put a gun to my head I couldn't say how that helps in the slightest.

The diary is just a form of memory that can be objectively verified.

You're calling me lazy?! I'm not the one who refuses to take the time to think things through to their final conclusion.
