It depends on any identity theory in which you survive completely with a brain transplant, that is what the step 1 is all about. You illustrate that such an easy step was needed, it seems to me.

If you survive brain transplant you introduce all sorts of problems for an account of personal identity. Just read the relevant philosophical literature. Your "easy step" elides all the problems.

Name one. You might try to avoid non specific critics which just shows your prejudices. Which relevant literature would I have missed? Reference please.
