I've run Ximian Desktop on no less than 4 computers (two laptops, one PC, and one Ultra 5) and helped my friends set up Ximian apps on their Linux boxes and I can honestly say that I've not seen what you have. I've yet to see "unreliable performance" from anything Ximian's put out. Of course I had one machine that locked up running RH 7.2 + Ximian ... and it did the same with Windows 98, and Mandrake 8.1 with no Ximian. Turns out it was a cooling issue (or rather a "lack of cooling" issue). I'm no doctor (nor do I play one on TV) but it sounds to me like it's a hardware problem. But, as they say, "Your mileage may vary." -- Brian _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
