Hoyt, Interesting, no I cannot. I can cut from AbiWord (0.9.2) and paste to kde apps using the middle mouse button, but cannot go the other way with either the middle mouse button or <ctrl>c, <ctrl>v. (Usually I test AbiWord in Windows. I don't have the latest AbiWord installed, but when I get a chance I'll install it and try that, or I'll write to the AbiWord users mail list.) Randy Kramer
