I'm in the process of installing 9.0 on my laptop. Unfortunately, the installation bums out at: "Enabling PCMCIA extension cards..." and decides to go no further!
My laptop (Chicony MP995) is: Celeron 333 64Mb RAM 6Gb HD For 8.2 I had to download a 'patch.pl' and run the install script with 'patch noauto' - unfortunately, this does not work with 9.0! I have also tried to tinker with the PCMCIA BIOS settings, but unfortunately that didn't work either! Not too sure what the problem is here... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Andy
