Gay activists generally think if they root out so-called homophobia and puritanical thinking from Society they will root out the conflict from within themselves as well. I think they're mistaken. Unfortunately they don't understand the source of their conflict isn't Society but their own Conscience! When the soul becomes outraged by the abnormal behavior of the Ego, it protests, for the soul intuitively knows the real ramifications of sin (ignorance). Conscience is that vehicle of the outrage of the soul beckoning the individual to cease and change one's behavior. Unfortunately, these people, not being Religious for the most part and not understanding the constitution of man, don't understand this inner conflict and think this inhibition is being imposed from without, it isn't, it's the tiny still voice of conscience within their own soul. The only way to end the conflict is, not to change society, but to change themselves!! Just a theory.....
