That's right, BillyG. Someone who incarnates as a gay person, for example, may well in a previous life have been a straight person who lectured gays about how immoral and sinful they were. So this time around, as a gay person, he learns from his own suffering how cruel and wrong such condemnation is. And in his next life he may be born as a straight person who crusades for gay rights and lectures homophobes about how immoral and sinful *they* are. Or, someone who in previous lifetimes had missed out on true love because of other karmic duties might be due for it this incarnation, and gets to experience an especially deep love relationship with a partner of the same sex, a love so strong and resilient and empowering that it cannot be influenced by the bigotry of those who would seek to destroy it. Those are just two of many possibilities. > The Gay lobby wants to wash their hands of ANY responsibility > for their sexual proclivities, blaming nature or God, Have you ever heard the slogan "Out and proud"? It would never occur to many gay people these days to "blame" nature or God for their being gay, since they don't consider being gay to be a Bad Thing. (Now, they might well blame nature or God for the bigotry of those who try to crush them by telling them being gay is a Bad Thing. But since bigotry is unquestionably a choice, that wouldn't be fair to nature or God.) hey! time to start taking on your own responsibility! Let God and nature off the hook, what a red herring....right, and Mozart was "just born that way" too, GMAB! >
