It is not selfish but, if I may, wait until a dog reaches out to you.
Puppies are so much work. Have you considered a dog out of the chewing
stage. Maybe one that is housebroken. This would make life easier for you
and you might be able to rescue a "teenager." If you have any doubt about
bonding with an older pup or an adult, forget them. I have never had any
trouble with ones that have a little age. Mai Mai was 6 months old or so
when she came to live with me and Allie was around 3 years old. Both were
wonderful.
I am so sorry for the pain and confusion you must be feeling. Why don't you
discuss another dog with Rocket? He may send you just the right dog at just
the right time.
If you have men who will
exclude any of God's creatures
