You use the cursor down key to scroll further in the list. This is how it
works in my version of Internet Explorer (Mac).
Besides, there already is a way of naming expressions other than what they
print, you just have to put the descriptive text in <...> _before_ the
expression. All it needs is a way to not _display_ this text in the score.
Or am I missing something here?
