I use soundfonts that are already loaded into my soundblaster card. As my MIDI out is assigned to to the Soundblaster hardware synths, I don't see why I need ANY soundfont loaded by Finale. Is there some way to turn that off?

It's because Finale loads the SoundFont bank in memory (20mb+). I tried
to
rename the 144.8mb Fluid Release III GM Bank.sf2 and load this instead. The startup time for Finale was even longer!
