Acrobat Distiller also installs a print driver that works this way. I think Johannes' point was that with separate Finale docs, you'd wind up with separate PDFs.

Not sure what version you're using but I think it was Fin2002 that introduced an 'Insert Page Break' command to the Page Layout tool. This basically attaches itself to a system, ensuring that that system always appears on the top of a page.
