[Finale] Keyspan Serial to USB converters

Does anyone have any experience with Keyspan serial (MAC) to USB 
converters? Finale tech support says that a serial midi interface and 
this device will work in Classic Mode in OSX. Since my G5 will not boot 
into system 9 I need some midi support for the remainder of the year.
