Maybe not all the members have upgraded to Fin2004, but eventually they will upgrade to Fin2005 or Fin2006 and I can't see Coda putting Finalescript into this version and then dropping it for future versions. So eventually we'll all profit from learning about it. It might even become a reason for some who haven't upgraded yet to make the leap to Fin2004.
I don't view it the same as programming plug-ins, which needs programming skills -- any of us can create finalescripts, if we can ever find the time to get started with it.
The discussion should remain on this list.

Though I have had WINFIN 2k4 since it was first released, pre-occupation with other projects prevented me form doing more than installing it and giving it a cursory review. Well, I've reached a point with those other projects where I had the time to look at the 2k4, with the idea of starting a couple of other projects on my "to-do list", which I was thinking of using the new Finalescript features to accomplish. Having spent some time looking at this, I have a couple pertinent questions:
1) Has anyone else begun using these capabilities?
I use (some of) them every day! It's one of the great improvements in Finale. Though it could be improved itself.
2) Would there be any value to asking for (or starting) a special "Finale Script" forum ?
I would prefer, unless there are too many objections, to use this same forum, with a specific header [FS] so those who aren't interested can easily filter out.
