Is it such a hard concept to adopt? MM seems to fear it, while
Sibelius seems to grasp that in community both sides benefit. If MM
does not at least monitor this and the Yahoo forum, it is stupid on a
colossal scale. Not to participate is to fail to grasp that even in
admitting shortcomings and in bringing us up to date on what it is
doing about them is to win as much loyalty and respect as users can
give until the program simply no longer meets the needs of modern-day
engraver-musicians.

Daniel, by the way, works for Sibelius (and wrote the Manual if I

freely and honestly, explaining how to do something for newbies,
why something else can't be done (yet), or whether it may be in the
queue for a future improvement. He explained WHY they've switched
from HTML to PDF. It's refreshingly honest and hands-on Customer
Service by someone who obviously cares about both his product and
his customers, something that MM might do well to adopt instead of
hunkering down and hiding
