Why do you have 50 staff lists? What causes you to need that many? This is not a rhetorical question, I'm genuinely interested.
I just did a brand new full score in Finale 2009 and only used ONE (that's right) one staff list. Robert also forgot to mention that you can now drag-apply expressions. While this caused me to change my workflow, it also mitigated my need for most staff lists. Allen J. Many pieces have upwards of 50 or more staff lists and this is a killer for me. Other worries for me are the new beat-placement expressions when importing older works with V1/V2. Still, Fin2k9 is looking like a really worthwhile upgrade but I don't understand MM's logic in placing such an arbitrary limit on the SL function.
