All I recall is that a few years ago I made such a
suggestion on the list and received a personal reply from
one of the developers who said something to the effect that
it was uncanny how well I had assessed the situation. No
names were mentioned nor were numbers mentioned. Just a
confirmation of my suspicion that development resources were
being diverted from notation to SmartMusic.
