I *think* that was what I tried before.  The 
latency made it unusable.   Maybe I didn't have 
it set up right, but there were no instructions 
with it - and I didn't have access to this fount of knowledge!

I had a scan through amazon this morning, and 
have saved 4 or 5 different ones in my wish 
list.  They are all under $100, and  most are 
around the $60-70 mark.   I just don't want to 
get one until I know how it is that the system should be set up to  use it.
