According to http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/firefox2 it's
available on 10.4/10.5/ppc/intel, unless you mean some other package.

You can force-remove things despite what dependencies say with 'dpkg -r
--force-depends <package>'. Though like Martin said, your x11 is so
confused as to what it has that many things will probably also fail. I
don't think anything can really be fixed if it is a firefox problem
until the underlying situation is resolved.

ps. the firefox crash log under ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter will
probably tell you something or other about what may be leading to the crash.
