I hadn't believed that glibtool would be this weird. It is hard not to call this a bug. In any case, the "Waiting for ...log to be removed" message is totally bogus. I have tried now to build cyrus-sasl2 on a 10.5 machine on which /sw/src/fink.build is on a disk image (in order to test case-sensitive builds; I think akh had or has a similar configuration). It fails in the same way as for Peter D. Some more data points: The previous version cyrus-sasl2-2.1.13-2 built OK on the same configuration almost 2 years ago, but I don't know which version of libtool2 was installed at the time; a rather old one, I guess. If I simply remove the file /sw/bin/glibtool, then the package builds OK, too. It uses /usr/bin/glibtool then, which is version 1.5.22. -- Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10 Tips for Better Server Consolidation Server virtualization is being driven by many needs.
