Hey, I really think language translator is really nice, but it doesn't always work correctly.
Why not send both the original message and the translated version?? This way the reader could see what I was trying to send in english (or whatever) and what it translated too. It would also allow me to type in the other language if I wanted, and my friend could use common sense to figure out what was going on.
Keep the formatting the same too. (IE: original message \n new message).
Is this message clear, I can try to explain it better if you don't understand.

This could work yes, however, it may work better as an option. For example, one person I use this with speaks French, but not English. (Incidently, I met her via a Spanish friend =\ ). Sending that text along with it doesn't make too much sense, however, I do see possibilities were it could be benificial. The better question would be were to put it if it's as a preference, since the only place translation is directly dealt with in the preferences is the text color =\ .
