Re: distinguishing SVNs for Alpha code software from released versions:
Change the background color for SVNs to red or green or yellow or something
intense, and keep the boring beige for the fully released versions.
OR a large banner in a bold color at the top of the Alpha console screens
with the SVN number and the trailer ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA!
(Only partly kidding!)
