Okay, I'm now convinced. I basically couldn't run FG on a 1.7Ghz, 640 M RAM
machine with an ATI card in it. I switched to an old NVIDIA GeForce2 Ultra
card, same thing, but when I added the Detonator driver, my frame rate
jumped to 30 fps at 1024x768.

I'm using this just to proof out some ideas, but when I am ready to push the
button, I'll buy the latest, greatest hardware.

Thanks to everyone for the help, and I hope that the number I've provided
help others.
