I forgot to say that you need to "call" the subroutine, from within the Eudora tell block (where the FileMaker block was originally). In this case the subroutine is creating a FileMaker record and setting fields from AppleScript variables. So you include the variables in the function. They do not have be named the same in the subroutine, but they have to be in the same order.
