I, too, was thinking of his comments on the structure and development
of the Internet vs. more recent things like the web, while reading
this interview with Erlang inventors Joe Armstrong and Robert Virding.

I wonder if Dr. Kay agrees with Joe's sentiments about the web first
ignoring one of the basic aspects of TCP/IP only to reinvent it
(poorly) with more crud piled on top.
