Kalau saya tak salah ingat, Indonesia pernah menolak seorang calon dutabesar AS (sebelum Paul Wolfowitz) karena sang calon tersebut berdarah Yahudi. (Saya tak tahu apakah ia juga memegang paspor Israel atau tidak). Penolakan tersebut dilakukan, terutama karena banyak politisi di DPR yang meributkannya.
