Well, thanks for trying!  And please don't give up on me yet.  Who can say
what bugs lurk in the deep, dark recesses of Protel, what with their Delphi
environment and such?  That's one of the drawbacks to using any development
environment (not just Delphi):  you inherit their bugs, you can't find what
causes them, you can't fix them (only workarounds), and often you can't find
them until some poor slob (like me) trips up on them!

Modern programming is like the occult, in that there is much hidden.
"Occult" comes from Latin "occultus", which means secret, hidden.
Development environments seem to cover a multitude of coding "sins" ;-)
