I don't know of any purpose for the sentence starting double space, except that presumably some people find it easier to read that way. For (1) the frame label needs to be pretty short otherwise it will be cutoff or cause the widget to be too wide. There's really only the "adjective" (i.e. the 'name' field in a nation ruleset file) or plural form ('plural') to choose from; I don't see either one as being better than the other. I suppose the user is expected to understand that the frame label is to be read as "the X nation", with "the" and "nation" omitted for brevity. For (2) the column header in the list is already "Nation", so adding "the ... nation" around every list entry would be redundant and take up a lot of space. I don't think there really is a solution to this, since in the game nations are always handled as attributes of players rather than as "countries" that would have proper names. Maybe in the nation ruleset the 'name' field could be split into 'name' which would be a noun name of the nation (i.e. as country), and 'adjective' which would be an adjective for things belonging to that nation (i.e. as nationality).
