This is still the case in trunk. I'll make a patch to make the shortcut letters unique within the city dialog. > The situation was such a mess when I last payed attention to it, that I > gave up on creating a valid set of shortcuts for the Swedish > translation, and instead resorted to the less than satisfying "solution" > of preserving the English shortcut (with their existing conflicts...) by > f ex translating "_Advances" with "Framsteg (_A)". There is http://freeciv.wikia.com/wiki/Keyboard_Reference I suppose as a start we should document all shortcuts in that page and standardize to its contents. Unfortunately that would not really solve the translated mnemonic problem. For menus, widget buttons, and similar strings (i.e. strings containing _ before the mnemonic shortcut letter) I would suggest to for now use your best judgment in re-assigning the shortcut to an appropriate character in the translated string and doing a test run of the program to at least avoid conflicts in the shortcuts that would be most often used by users. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 近道しすぎは健康に悪いよ。 _______________________________________________ Freeciv-i18n mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-i18n
