Hi Michael,

I've managed to reproduce the issue by setting up my FT-817 with a
SM1000, and some powered speakers so I could leave it running for a
while and hear it from the next room.  It's "breaking squelch" for me a
few times a minute.  Might be signal dependent too, ie what sort of
background signals there are on the band.

Would be nice to fix this, so the SM1000 can be left running like a
squelched FM radio.

I'll think about how to deal with this, will take a few weeks to fix.
