Here is something you can look at, if you have time.

In the JLY output file, if you open in a text editor (maybe make just one record so its not too big) you will see a section called Colorants, this should list all colors in the job including the ones you defined.

Corresponding with this list, throughout the file you will see things like: "/8colors cs 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1". "8" is the number of colors in my job, your may have a different number. The other numbers align with the amount of each color used. You can find each incident by searching for "colors cs". For spot color, if you see all zeros except for the color you defined, you know the variable text output from FusionPro is ok. It must be a problem in an included graphic or with press settings.
