I've created a ticket template and successfully sent JLTs back to our HP

exact.

PMS 186 U official name is "PANTONE 186 U". Notice spelling out Pantone with all caps.

The possibilities for Reflex blue are:

 * PANTONE Reflex Blue C
 * PANTONE Reflex Blue HC
 * PANTONE Reflex Blue M
 * PANTONE Reflex Blue PC
 * PANTONE Reflex Blue U

Rename your colors in FusionPro to match one of these.

But now when I send them back it wants to convert the two spot colors to
CMYK mixes.

The RIP is picking the substitute colors either because, it did not recognize the names or its settings are wrong.

I'm a new FusionPro user but I understand that when I select JLT for
outputting, I need to select "Options" and check the Spot Color box when
I'm composing.

Good.

In Quark, I've double-checked to make sure that my project is only using black and these two PMS colors. Same with my images in Ilustrator...only
black and two PMS colors. Is there something I should be doing when I
export my document to a PDF?

You can also print separations to make triple sure, but it sounds like you know what your doing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Daryl
