Hello -

I'm a little lost on what exactly you are trying to accomplish but...
something about creating PDF's in Quark 7 that I've discovered is that if
you want to retain the spot color info when you create the PDF is that you
have to go to output the file as a PDF, click on the PDF options button,
select the color menu and make sure your "Mode" is set to "Composite" and
your "Setup" is changed to "Composite CMYK and Spot" if you do this you
retain the PMS colors or any other special colors you've created,
otherwise - you just get CMYK output.

Hope that makes sense and helps... it is rather early in the morning :)
