Neil,

You are right of course about applying two possible fixes at the same time -
but to be honest we're more interested in getting back a stable working
firewall than knowing what the problem was.  What little money NHS staff
have would also be on the HFA19 fix.....

Thanks to all for help - hopefully this is the end of the story.

100% which fixed it.   But my money would be on a Checkpoint bug fixed in
HFA19...
