Checkpoint gave us HFA19 (which included a newer version of fw.sys) which we
have applied and we have also replaced the memory modules in our server with
new modules.  So far the server is behaving itself, but it is too soon to
think the problem is 'fixed' given the nature of the problem.  The BSOD
crashes happened only Monday to Friday during office working hours and not
every day so we are waiting for a good few days yet to see if the crisis is
over.

 Make sure they have escalated the issue to their development department,
or at least to an escalation engineer that has source code access.  No-one
without source code access will be able to debug the issue.  All anyone
else could do is see if the dump location matched a known bug/fix they
already had documented.
