Here is the issue now! I got my Pismo Matshita drive off ebay and am getting
ready to take it apart, but I have a question. The specs for my present
drive are bellow, with the specs for the new drive where there are changes
after the /.

Is the drive I got off ebay newer than my others (I have two, same specs}
and so far as I can see there is nothing wrong with the supposedly faulty
drive I purchased to convert to a CD-RW. Any help out there as to which one
I should take apart and which I should keep. I played a CD, DVD and a Video
CD on the new drive and it seemed to work just fine, although the seller
claimed intermittent problems.
