Nick, I have used OS X on my Pismo 400 since the public beta (over two years!) and the recent revs of the system are much faster than the original release. I don't use DVD, but the system works well for everything else in my estimation. I only use Classic sporadically now. (EndNote and SciFinder don't have X versions (yet).)
