Using a pismo/500 under 10.1.5 here and I'm pretty happy with it. You _will_ find the Finder slower in OSX, though that's one of the things Jaguar is supposed to fix/improve. I think plenty of RAM is crucial (no pun or plug intended). I have 640mb, and suspect that you'll see a noticeable improvement if you can increase yours from 256, ridiculous as that seems.
