Yeah I think this whole computing thing went to far once Apple
discontinued Lisa... Progress can lead us NO WHERE!! Now what did I
do with my abacus...

Well then. . . looks like the day is almost here. Guess I'm heading
down to have my Pismo fitted for a tombstone. I knew this was
going to
happen, just wish Jobs would slow down. I saw the new Intel Macs and
yawned. Frankly, I don't care. It's just another "give Jobs more
money" scheme. He didn't make enough with the iPods, not enough with
the Mini. . . not even enough with the Nano. So, now it's time to up
the anti and get Intel in to help. This is a brilliant money move,
since now people like me; people who are satisfied with their older
machine that runs the newest of the new today, with be forced to
upgrade. I don't think I'm going to this time. I spent over
$3,000.00
for my Pismo the day it came out. I spent over $5,000.00 for the
PowerMac 9500 (may it rest in peace) the day it came out. I believe
I've reached the end of computing altogether. Once my Pismo is
"officially unofficial" and is forced into retirement, so will I.

been fun!
