This still requires a physical connection to the card. I'm not keen
on making this kind of adaptation. Besides, if I read it correctly,
one of the ways to attach the antenna is to go thru the PC card slot?
I'm using my slot with a CF card.

I was told about, but haven't had a chance to track down, a USB
antenna--thin design, could fit easily into a carrying bag. I don't
know if these just use the physical connection to grab signal, or if
they need software drivers to work.
