Heh sorry I was gonna put this in my reply but forgot to paste it: "Personally - I'd never buy a sony CDRW drive - why not get a faster (per reviews) and cheap Lite-On 40x model (40125S) or 48x (48125W) that are fully supported in OS X 10.1.5 or 10.2. (Check for reports here on those drives before buying)"
