Not good. Could be anything from a loose HD cable to a dead
interface or dead HD. :(
Do you get the basic bong?
When the firmware boot stalls, what icon does it leave on the screen?
Can you hear the HD spinning up at all?
Try zapping the PRAM.
Try reseating the HD cable.
Check to see if there are some diags on that install CD...
