BTW, after passing through the Beige, now the iMac disk boots. Will install
Tiger on top of it. Aren't low-end-Macs great to have around?
Re cable select, a friend of mine bought a couple of years ago and external
Firewire enclosure with a disk and had it assembled by a tech. I borrowed
it and noticed it was very slow. Issue was that the disk was not in CS and
the enclosure could not take advantage of the fast ATA speed. Internal IDE
wire in the enclosure was 80-cable.
