Just to throw this in to the mix. Some beiges do not like to go from
10.2 up to 10.2.8 in one step. Mine is one of them. There is an Apple
article about this. For these you need to go to 10.2.6 then go to
10.2.8. Apple still has the 10.2.6 combo update on their site at:
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosxupdatecombo_10_2_6.html
